Heat treatment and finish Austempering is applied to increase the mechanical property of our products. Our modern heat treatment equipment and skillful technicians guarantee each retaining ring within the mechanical properties required. The standard finish of carbon steel retaining rings is phosphate. Dacromet is available on request. Zinc plating is available, but is not recommended because of the risk of hydrogen brittleness. Stainless steel is polished into original color after heat treatment.
